C-17 Globemaster - The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo, and it can perform tactical airlift and airdrop missions. The Canadian Forces utilize four C-17s. The example performing at the show comes to us from the United States Air Force.

F/A-18F Super Hornet - The F/A-18F Super Hornet has replaced the F-14 Tomcat as US Navy's top-line jet fighter aircraft. The Super Hornet is extremely maneuverable, which will be quite evident during its display. The Super Hornet returns to Abbotsford for the third consecutive year.

| USAF Heritage Flight - The USAF Heritage Flight program was established in 1997 to display the evolution of United States Air Force airpower. The 2008 Heritage Flight consists of an F-16 Fighting Falcon and a WWII era P-51 Mustang.

Centennial Heritage Flight - A highlight of the show will undoubtedly be the formation display of the 2009 demo Hornet with Hawk One and a CT-114 Tutor painted in the colours of the Golden Centennaires, a team that was formed for the 1967 airshow season to commemorate Canada's Centennial. Hawk One will be flown by Astronaut Chris Hadfield in the display.
